The lodge social club plays an important part in lodge life at Lodge Possilpark 1330. Our Social Convenor has remarked that it is not unusual to see a local resident “friend of Lodge Possilpark 1330” having their 18th or 21st Birthday Party in the lodge, followed by an Engagement Party some years later.
Further down the line a Wedding Celebration and a Christening follow as the next generation makes its way into the world.
Over the years we have hosted just about every kind of social event you can think of and when decorated our main hall is completely transformed into a beautiful venue.
We can comfortably seat 100 and by using the seats around the side of the hall this can be extended to 120 covers.
Our bar stocks everything required to help an evening swing along happily.
Our stage can accomodate a five piece band easily or a table for half-a-dozen after dinner speakers. A DJ and disco is no problem and a race night or karaoke is easily manageable.
Our in-house sound system provides crystal clear audio, and we can hook up external equipment without a problem.
Get in touch with our Social Convenor via our contact page if you need any advice on an event you are planning.

What is Freemasonry?

Freemasonry is one of the world's oldest secular fraternal societies and which originated in Scotland.
Freemasonry is a society of men concerned with moral and spiritual values. Its members are taught its precepts by a series of ritual dramas. These remain substantially the same form used in Scottish stonemasons lodges, and use Scottish stonemasons' customs and tools as allegorical guides.
